Essence of Christmas

"Let's sing Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday,
this season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus".
Christmas is a holiday that is celebrated with feelings of cheer and happiness. Usually, we picture our family who were putting up Christmas tree and other christmas decorations, children who were caroling from  house to house, attending midnight mass and preparing noche buena, buying gifts for our special someone, special friends and relatives, shoppings and enjoying Christmas parties. But, I'm disappointed. To some people Christmas means having "material things" they think that money can give the true essence of Christmas. Maybe, they did not realize that the  meaning of Christmas is giving and sharing,  for God gave his only begotten son. Let us reflect on the ways  on how we celebrate Christmas. Is it fun having Christmas Parties? Is it only for rich people who go to abroad? Or it’s just spending Christmas simply with your family and relatives with love, peace and joy in our hearts or attending Misa de Gallo at dawn with friends and family or acting as a modern Santa Clause giving simple gifts or candies to children.
It’s high time for us to internalize on what should  we really do on Christmas season. We’ve got 10 days to think and decide and surely our decision will make Jesus happy.  “ Let me be the one to guide us as another new year starts and may the TRUE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS BE ALWAYS IN OUR HEART”.

Climate Change

We are in the world in which modern technology are presented. High-tech gadgets, amazing appliances and other apparatus are highly appreciated in this world. We are dumped and covered with so many inventions and gadgets and because of this we almost forget to give attention for what our Mother Earth is now facing.

Climate change is a tangible problem and it's existence can no longer be denied. Climate change is also the cause of human activities like cutting of trees, abusive use of fossil fuels, construction of buildings, roads and other imprastructures and contribute much of green house effect in the atmosphere. And because of this many are affected much like our natural resources. And so, there is now air pollution and others. These may lead also to death because they can cause health problems.

However, all of us can play vital part of the climate change solution. And the only thing to do is to help our Mother earth from falling by giving support to companies that are making the biggest strides in fighting climate change. And if we wanna encourage other people let them hear our voices. And together we can fight climate change. Let us fight the problems yesterday and make solutions today and together let's embrace the future with a great HOPE !!

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Men and Women have different roles but their rights are equal, meaning all people should always have the right in doing many things. Imagine the world where people are equal. Social, academic and political classes are vanished. People with the same personalities and capabilities sharing ideas, investments and resources equally and manually. When in times of hatred there should be love, when in times of war, there should be peace, when in times of sorrow, there a laughters should be heared, and when you think it's now the end of the world faith should be in our heart. This line shows that every individual exist not for nothing but for himself and for others. We were born to enjoy our rights and therefore have the chance to the opportunities that may come to our lives.

                                                   Going Global to English Language
English is our international language. Everybody should recognized this as a tool in every field and in every career that we'll be taking. We should be well-versed or try to be fluent in speaking English because this would add to our personality and develop of our self-ego. In any field, like we land to a job or interviews that would be a plus-factor for us if we know to speak english well. They will be impressed on how we'll respond or answer and in how you deliver yourself in english way. And in this way, we can communicate easily to others specially when we will go to other country. So that, whenever you encounter some foreigners you can speak to them in a very nice way. So lets train ourselves in speaking English and together we'll have a better communication and economy.

REFLECTION

During our second period in I.C.T we tackled the HTML Tags. I've known the HTML Editors like the Notepad that is essential to Microsoft Windows, next is the Simple text. And also the html elements. The 2 kinds of tags, the Stand alone tag and the container tag. And we had different Activities. Like creating an Html File and many more.
I didn't met any problems in dealing these lessons and activities of mine. Because I always understand it and I always listen to what our lecturer is talking and also I attentively look what Ma'am is doing when she is showing us what to do.
Moving on I'll continue what I had  done good  this past grading and also I will study hard.

Modern Day Heroes

We define heroes as people who have contributed to the well being of others. In today's society, it is hard to know someone who is another person can look up  as a hero. It takes a special quality and person for others to know they can look up to and follow without worrying about being lead astray. The modern day hero I have chosen is someone who not only is willing to lay his life down for another, but also is willing to fight for everyone's freedom.
A hero was someone who was a provider and a hero is someone who did good for all of mankind.  A hero become someone who put their life on the line just to saved the innocent people. Firefighters, Policeman, Soldiers are just some of are so called now Heroes. They are the one who are protecting us from danger and in any kind of accidents even if their live will be in dangered also. The view of a Hero may change from time to time but let us and we should not forget our heroes in the past, the present and let us embrace the heroes to our future. And let us also be a Hero in our everyday life.

Unravel the causes, Build the solution, Empower Science clubbers in action.

We live in a society exquisitely dependent on science and technology, in which hardly anyone knows about it. We all know that we are in the world of modern technology. And, in discovering and exploring some new things you have to know if they will produce, provided and may even benefit to the life of every individual.
New inventions make  our life easier and more comfortable but there are some disadvantages that will eventually cause environmental problems .Let us more be aware and keen observer. Inventors made gadgets and high tech apparatus to satisfy their  own happiness and pleasure. Why not produce or invent things that can help our mother earth from falling? A device that can prevent environmental problems like deforestation that causes landslides, tsunamis, the shaking of tectonic plates and many more. Unraveling the causes  step by step. Through this, we can solved such problems  and we empower it to action.

"Wika natin ang Daang Matuwid"

It's August and we all know that this month we're celebrating the "Buwan ng Wika" to declare the importance of our own language. This celebration aims to enlightened our minds in giving importance to our own language and to wake up us young Filipinos in thruth.

In our generation many people haven't known their own language because of the influence of other country. For example, when someone went to abroad and stayed there for how many years and came back to it's country he/she can't recognize it's own language and it's mentality change like the way he/she acts, moved, and talk and its character is influenced by the western life. They become liberated and independent. I am ashamed that even our "Kababayans" were the one who are doing this.  So in order to prevent this, we must have a unity, we must be united as one. Specially we " Filipinos" because this was the gift and the treasure that our heroes had given to us. We must be proud in our own language. This will serve as our light and in guide in continuasly walking through our journey to life and in aiming World Peace. So I must say " Ang Wikang Filipino ay palaganapin, Gabay natin sa daang tatahakin."

REFLECTION...

It was June when we started our lesson in I.C.T. We tackled first about the internet concentrating on its history, its timeline, next is the different computer pioneers, lastly the Philippine internet architectures. Next is about the web browser, URL's Web Pages and the 3 types of multimedia like the WAV Sound, AIFF, and many more. And lastly the different blogs. I'd encounter so many blogs like the multi-media blogs, By Genre, the sketch blog , photoblog, and many more. These are just some o the topics and lessons I've learned in I.C.T. in just 2 months.
In dealing and understanding all these topics that we had discussed, there were some topics that I can't understand like in creating blog, honestly  when I am creating my blogger I accidentally mispelled my name, I thought I put ariannejoyrebunal but it wasn't it was arinne. So everytime I open my URL there were no posts I tried to post and post and post but there was nothing. So I tried arinne and then I've got it. It was the only problem that I encounter in creating and typing some mispelled words specially my name.

Moving on, I will listen carefully to the instructions and rules of our teacher in order to avoid problems in posting blogs. And as a student I will study well not hard to pass my subject specially in I.C.T.

 SONA 2013

July 22,2013 dated the 4th SONA of our President Benigno Aquino III. In his Sona he mentioned his accomplishments in our economical status and the problems that we are facing right now. But above all this, there were some who disagreed and not contented for what our President have done. Although, there were some issues that he didn't mentioned like the Pork Barrel Scam.  As a student and as a listener and observer I want to give some reactions about the Dep-Ed specifically in rehabilitation and reconstructions of some classrooms around the country.  Because as we all know, the K-12 program has started so we need an extra classrooms. How I wish that the vision of our President in times of the quality of education under the leadership of Bro. Armin Luistro will be made possible and come to reality because it's very alarming when the K-12 is implemented we will be needing more classrooms, textbooks and chairs and also qualified teachers for the senior high schools.  I hope that in pursuance to this mission many students and pupils will be benefited and it will gradually improved the quality of education as the main goes of Dep-Ed.

Republic of the Philippines
Mr. Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III

Dear Mr.President,

I am very lucky that I have given the chance to write a letter to you. lucky indeed if you will have a precious time to browse this letter. I am just an ordinary 4th year high school student to have the concerned about our country specifically for us youth. When I heared that there will be an election of SK in the Philippines I have given the hope and a chance to serve my fellow youth because as a "Kabataan" I felt the enthusiasm to serve my own community. Even though I'm only 15 years old I know that I can help in my own simple and little ways. I want to become an SK Chairman if not at least a member to realize my dreams and aspirations in serving my own community and the whole Vigan City as well.
